From the Cason di Lanza pass at a height of 1,552 m above sea level, following CAI Trail No. 458, which starts at the back of the holiday farm, go up to Sella di Val Dolce at a height of 1,781 m above sea level where you join CAI Trail No. 403 coming from Forcella Cordin. Once you have left the trail leading down to the Rattendorf Alm and turn right at the boundary markers onto CAI Trail No. 403. Once you reach a crossroads, the trail bends to the right and takes a long detour under the south face of the Creta di Aip, before returning to the border ridge in the direction of the Sella di Aip. From the pass, the trail enters Austrian territory, going down to a height of 1,700 m above sea level, and then climbing up to the peak of Mount Madrizze, which is crossed at a height of 1,850 m above sea level. Once again, go along CAI Trail No. 403, go down near the ski slopes to the Pramollo pass at a height of 1,530 m above sea level. To finish the stage, follow the road uphill for about one kilometre to the Watschiger Alm at a height of 1,625m above sea level.
